Default RE: My sons first nitro!

I use the Hpi racing clutch [link]http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLW03&P=M[/link]
Yes I use 3 bearings, 1 of the big stock washers and both of the small ones.
You will have to make your pilot shaft alittle longer by adding a 1/8 to 1/4 piece of a tension pin.
You can find the tension pin at a Home Depot or something like that. The tension pin just has to fit inside the bearings not to tight.
So you will put the 3 bearings on then the 13/18 bell ,your small piece of tension pin, big washer then small washer, then locktite the allen screw in.
After you are finished make sure your bell spins freely and then you should be all set.
Ehroof has the same set up in his tsunami. Tension pin and the bearings. If your have any probs fell free to ask. Ehroof will be able to help out alittle more. I am not very good at explaining things online.
Once you get it you will not be disappointed. GOOD LUCK

Later , Fong[8D] feel free to email me if you have any probs [email protected]
