RE: Hangar 9 F-22 Raptor PTS
Well I got the tail installed and dialed in all the radio tweaks for sub trim, throws, dual rates, yada yada. Went over and made mods and added braces for control rods so that everything works smooth and with plenty of travel. On advice of an old pro I moved the control rod that turns the front wheel to the first hole on the servo arm instead of the second one. This gives the arm more leverage and reduces the travel of the steering wheel, which is better for narrow runways, and safer for takeoffs and landings. It also increases the taxi turning radius but no biggie.
Tonight I am installing the fixed flaps, making any finishing touches to the wings, bolting the wings on and doing partial system test.
Hopefully, will maiden tomorrow am.
