Why not charge the LiPo directly through the balancer connector, this works very nicely and gives increased safety if you use e.g. a Hyperion balancer (or one of the many identical relabelled balancers). This balancer will disconnect from the charger in case one of the cell voltages gets too high. This works brilliantly!
