RE: Best combination for 3D
Flying weight is 10.25lb. Using Hitec 645 MG Ultra High Torque, two for elevator, one for rudder, one per aileron, 425 BB Hitec for Throttle. The rudder servo is mounted at the back for the weight needed for the 3W infront. Using a 18/8 3w Wooden Prop. It flies very light although a bit on the heavy side, but will hover at 3rd throttle and pull out at just over 3rd throttle. I must just be carefull not to fly it to fast, because it could pick up flutter. Most flying is done from just above idle to 3rd throttle. I use a JR 2720 for the radio. Put on bigger wheels for the ground clearance for the 18/8.
Want to get the CMP Yak 140 size to try out the 3w in it. Think it would also handle very well.
