Ok ok...you're going to get several different opinions on this matter....

From a fellow RC dude who HATES pullstarts.... here's my experience:

After the 3rd tank through my NX-26 (when it DID run) I installed the Roto-start and
Result = No complications

I used to own a Jato 3.3 with a roto-start. Used it from the first fire up breaking it in.
Result = No complications

Now, I purchased the O.S. Engine I mentioned in your last thread. Used a roto-start from first fire up
Result = No complications

Oh yeah, Did I mention this is the same roto-start I've had for 2 years?

Yeah..you'll be fine. Keep the power source charged for the roto-start and do not operate it in one consistent shot for too long and it will last you a long time with any engine IMO.

Don't fear the Roto
