One word about the Proctor kits - the are a very detailed kit with lots of small parts and nothing like a slab sided sport plane. Some of them have functional flying wires with scale turnbuckles. That said, they are also some of the prettiest look planes you'll find, and great flyers also. Just be ready for a lot of build time in one. Many people I know who do build them also have other projects going since the can be a bit tedious at times. Also they are not really inexpensive.
