Balsa USA has a nice Eindecker EIII .40 kit.
Crime there is no D-VII in .40 size. Someone usually has a Dr-1 triplane kit available. Maybe we're in the lull period between when many modlers have built and tried to fly one, or seen it attempted, and when everyone has forgotten and tries again.

Well I really wanted the tri plane with the small wing inbetween the weels. But it has to be able to use a .40 motor.[
] I would transfer an old one to the Fokker (note spelling
) because I have absolutely no source of money but I will be able to scrape enough pennies together to buy a fokker plane
.
No RTFs though. ARF's or kits.
I would even settle for plans of a Fokker triplane if they exist.
Thank You
PS Charlie P the eindecker is not what I want.

One word about the Proctor kits - the are a very detailed kit with lots of small parts and nothing like a slab sided sport plane. Some of them have functional flying wires with scale turnbuckles. That said, they are also some of the prettiest look planes you'll find, and great flyers also. Just be ready for a lot of build time in one. Many people I know who do build them also have other projects going since the can be a bit tedious at times. Also they are not really inexpensive.

I thought the Sterling CL one was a profile job.....I have plans here somewhere.[maybe i'm thinking Sig]
I have plans for the bigger D.VII, and a Dr.I & D.VIII that could be scaled for a forty.

If you mean the one designed for a .48 it would need to be an extremely strong .40 engine. But for all we know you have an LA which is on the Lame Duck side. I'd hesitate to put any .40 on there to be honest as I think it would be an accident waiting to happen. These are NOT cheap or easy to fly. To under power them on top of that would seal the deal. May as well go to a casino. Sorry. Oh, Houston, go down to the dog track near Galveston then.
