Default sig kits

Some of the older Sig kits can definitely be a bit of a bear to build, but done right made for nice flying planes. Most of their 70s kits such as the "K" series (Kadets prior to the LT, Kavalier, Komander, Kougar, Kobra and Komet) used techniques like printing the parts shape onto a sheet of wood for the builder to cut out. That said, they had good instructions for the time and were really no harder to build then most other kits from that era, such as Royal, Pilot and red box Top Flites.

But it doesn't get any better then their latest kits. The Four Stars, Somethin' Extra, Rascal and new 1/5th scale Cub are extremely well engineered. The folded plans remain a bit of a thorn, but they flatten out just fine if you iron them.

Best,
Kelly
