Serious stalling problem, please help
Hi,
I am a noob to RC trucks, so sorry in advance if some stupidity is present here.
Basically, I got a kyosho inferno ST US sports yesterday and took it for the brake in process today. I have read tons of manuals, watched the traxxas dvd and so forth.
The problem that I am having is that I cannot break in because of constant stalling. It doesn't matter if I let it idle, attempt to use little throttle, tweak the throttle offset setting, it always stalls. If I let it idle, it stops approx after 30-60 seconds. If I push the throttle (as gently as I can, not even a quarter way) it stalls. The only way it starts to go if I increase the throttle level (on the remote) to 20% higher, than 0. And even like that it stalls after a short period of time.
Now, I know about richning and leaning and I have set the high speed needle to 3 360 turns (as in the manual for the GXR28 engine). There are tons of blue smoke coming from the exhaust, but it doesn't help (even at idle the smoke comes out).
The carbuerator setting is set to the level, where the engine doesn't stall if I max out on the brakes (it slows the rpm, but doesn't stall). I I hit full throttle (when engine is off, of course), the carb opens fully (there is a huge opening, is that correct?).
The idle RPM is set to some point, where I can actually start the engine without tweaking the throttle level on the remote.
I think I am doing something wrong, because the engine starts always with 1-2 cranks (provided I prime it), all electronics works, but it doesn't drive.
I am very frustrated right now, I have spent 5 hours trying to figure something out, but managed to burn only about 100cc of fuel (not even a full tank), can anyone help, please?
