What Chad said plus one more thing. When taping the muffler, do not tap it in such a way that the smoke oil will be sprayed right into the exhaust port on the engine. It could and most likely will cause the engine to stop. You could buy a smoke muffler for the coil but gas engines produce all the heat you need and the coil is there to help pre-heat the oil and adds weight
