I find that the electronics of the Matarro Sturmtiger aren't that bad. The odd battery pack sucks, but on the plus side, it seems to run quite a while on the charge. My Sturm doesn't suffer from lack of power either. The only bad thing about the electronics is that the setup is very touchy. You can drive the tank slowly, in different proportional speeds, but you have to have a steady hand. If not, the tank can be jerky because of its speed. It's not silly fast like the Ultimate Soldier Panzer IV, and it DOES have proportional control. I have put the metal tracks on mine, and it did slow it down some. So far I have had zero problems with breaking the plastic gears -- but I have no abused it either.
