Overall about the same and it preference. I like gas cause I can hear the motor. With electric the batteries will slowly go out and bring you down. Price will be about the same cuase the battery is exspensive. You will need less field equptment with electric so that can save you alot of money in the start. I would try to get an all in one deal and make sure its a high wing not a low wing aircraft. If you have to get a low wing plane as a triner just send me the money. The plane will go for 5 seconds and be gone. Trust me, I used a Midwest Bf 109 as my first aircraft. MISTAKE!
