RE: Feibao Bae Hawk
I had a SM Hawk and now have a FB Hawk (although the latter is still in the box.) The original Hawk was first flown with a Wren MW 54. It needed just a little more and it was then flown with a Wren Supersport, which was perfect for scale flying. Of course if you want it to go like an F1-16 then the sky is the limit. The FB Hawk is, so far as I can see, identical to the SM Hawk, except it is a bit heavier. I think it will still be OK with the Supersport.
Of course this engine is light and very economical so there is no need to fill the small tank. Thrust is not the only point to consider, weight is important too, and fuel economy has a big part to play.
