Covington is on the east side of atlanta (about 40 miles east). It has been a while since I made it down to Florida. I think its probably about 5 and a half hours to jacksonville. Let me look into it though, I might be able to jump in the car and take a ride depending on how work goes. I would definitely enjoy it!
