My recommendation is to use the type "A" Hyde Mount...It is a little bigger and heavier than th4e AR version but doesn't require a nose ring...My opinion is the Hyde mount is the best motor mount available. I have been using them since about 94'...I have never had a failure or the mount wear out either....Combine this with outstanding service from Merle Hyde.

You'll need to call them...I doubt they have the type "A" on the website....Tell them you want the Type "A" because of a cowling and no ability to run the nose ring. The ARI is another option but requires a pretty beefy firewall....Use the Type "A"....
