By "stops", do you mean the ratchet on the throttle, which (at least in mode 2) is on the left stick? Normally a heli radio has just friction on the throttle stick axis, and smooth motion with spring return on all others. Frankly, I cannot imagine flying without the centering springs myself . . .

Or did I totally miss what you are asking?
