You'd be surprised at what the DX6 is capable of. I fly my Hurricane 550 just fine with it. Doing mild 3D and stuff. The key is all in the set-up. I was also thinking about going to the Rex 600 but I had plenty of batteries from my 450 and my chargers are only capable of up to 5 cells so the Hurricane was the better choice for me. It was a whloelot cheaper than buying all new gear and it's cheaper to fix after a crash.
