Default RE: HS 55 servo...

ORIGINAL: LDGILLS

Well, not a matter of $$ as much as a matter of making sense. I foresee having to replace probally one more set of servos as I progress in my abilities to fly more aggressive.

It only makes sense to use quality servos on the cyclic. The S75 and the HS55 servos are not up to the task. Poor centering, and poor crash survivability.
If you are looking to purchase wisely, get the HS65 servos.

This is not a matter of bling. This is a matter of flight performance in a critical area. Look at all of the tricked out linkages between the servo and the blades. A lot of bearings. A lot of ball links. A lot of high end engineering. All to make the cyclic control system as slop free as possible.

Don't throw away all of that by using a sloppy servo.

Get the HS65. Going with anything less is wasting money and asking for poor cyclic control.
