Hi Peter , Walter and Enrique , thanks for the replies . Sorry for the late reply , I have been out the office for a few days , only back yesterday and did not have time to look at the responses . I agree with Enrique . No matter how many patterships you have build a good manual is important and helpful . I think I may have put together more scratchbuild planes in my 30 odd years of flying than most people (started when I was apprx 14 ) with planes build from scratch ( including making the moulds ) for planes such as the Dirty Birdie , UFO, Curare and Phoenix 8 . Having a manual ( or at least some basic guidelines) creates a good impression of the producer and gives the builder some guideline from where you can decide to do it the building manual way or your own . I see my friend Roly has started a new thread to which there has been very helpfull responses - will track the tips and hints from there . Thanks again !
