I also have a trainer plane. But, I bought mine ARF. I have the Nexstar (see my profile for pictures) I have no clue if it is available in RTF. Probably, who knows ? The Nexstar is a gas - I'm anxious to train and haven't seen how well it flys compared to an electric. But, if you belong to a local club and it has a instructor or members with plenty of knowledge on the topic ask them for their opinion. Almost all the people I know haved trained on the Nexstar.
