Default Update-Blade 400

First off, let me just say that what I am about to relay is not supposed to be a cause for which is better, the Blade 400, or the T-Rex. This is just one persons opinion (hobby shop owner) on the Blade 400. I just came back from my LHS, where I had to buy some parts for my CX-2 and got to talking with Darryl, the owner. He said he just came back from a RC show that took place somewhere in Texas and he had a chance to fly the Blade 400. In his own words; 'Now I've got to find a buyer for my T-Rex 450!' He only flew it for about 10 minutes, but he said that it was the most responsive 'bird' he has ever flown, and one of the best performing ones too. I asked him if he thought that my next step from a CX-2 to a Blade 400 would be a good one, and he said 'without a doubt!' Before flying the Blade 400 he was recommending the T-Rex 450, but after flying the 400, he told me that the Blade 400 would be his choice when upgrading from a co-axel heli. Granted, the two are different and the learning curve for the Blade 400 is greater, but he said that the Blade is very 'forgiving!' I sure hope he's right, because I have already ordered a Blade 400 and, trust me, I'll need all the forgivness I can get!!!

Again, this was not meant to start a 'war' as to which heli is better, but rather one man's experience with the new Blade 400. Personally, he has never steered me wrong in the past and with his 5 years experience flying helis, I tend to trust his opinions. Still, for those of you that are still undecided, it would probably be best for you to wait until there is more of the Blade 400's 'on the streets' before you finally decide which bird to go with. As for myself, well my mind is made up.
