pete alot of it depends on the tow vehicle - with your van it would be the best thing you could since it has a low gvw#- also be sure to have electric brakes working and not just the tongue activated brakes - you will then be fine .
also it never hurts to add a auxillery transmission cooler - again it really helps on the smaller tow vehicles
