Not true, since I know of incidents where the AMA insurance has been quick to take care of people who were injured by our RC models.

Regardless, I don't really care about the AMA insurance since it is secondary / tertiary to my home owners and my Personal Umbrella Policy ; I didn't join AMA because I needed insurance, I joined it because I needed access to flying fields, and that's extremely hard to do around here without having AMA membership.
