You can try this. Take a good ole epoxy mixing stick (preferabley the large) set your switch cover on it and trace around the opening for the switch. Cut it out with an exacto knife. Drill a small hole on the switch itself and use some music wire (Or any kind of half way stiff wire) and put it through a small hole on the side of the fuse. The charging jack just flaots around in there, but it is easy to get to. Check out the pic....
