well it could just be one or the other is bad so the other one wont work. I don't really know what to say or how you should test that. GL though =)

you can check and see if the motor gives you a good ohm reading around 1 or less between the conductors, depending on how it's wired they should be pretty close to the same, but that'll only tell you if you've gotten the motor to hot and burned out the windings.
