Default Quick question for someone with an eflite brushless esc

Anyone with the eflite brushless ESC....if you could do a quick test for me I would be greatly appreciated. I fried my old ESC and purchased a brand new one. But I can't seem to get it to give off the arm beep. So I need to know if the ESC can arm without the motor attached. So I know if my new ESC is DOA or if possibly my motor has also failed. Thanks

I dunno if I would be willing to do that, but you'll have no idea if it arms or not because the ESC uses the motor as the speaker, and I know what you're thinking, and YES it's TRUE!

wow, that sorta blows my mind....but i guess that means my motor is fried as well. Since it wont beep. Anyone else like to confirm this?

well it could just be one or the other is bad so the other one wont work. I don't really know what to say or how you should test that. GL though =)

you can check and see if the motor gives you a good ohm reading around 1 or less between the conductors, depending on how it's wired they should be pretty close to the same, but that'll only tell you if you've gotten the motor to hot and burned out the windings.
