Default RE: Bobcat 25

ORIGINAL: Meekskin

Ok guys,

My good buddy Phil and I purchase the bobcat 25 from nitro planes and have flown them 4 times now. What a really nice flying plane and very fast with the os32 engine. The building of the bobcat is good for the most part, but there are a few design flaws. The nose landing gear is too short and doesn't extend high enough to connect the wheel coller...My buddy designed a fix for this and it really works great. Also, the bulkhead for the nose wheel is week and will break on not too soft a landing. The main gear is also weak and will bend back on hard landings. If you are building one of these great little planes you will be very pleased with the quality of the fuse and covering. Be sure to set up duel rates because on landing the little plane is very sensetive and cannot be slowed too much or it will drop out of the sky. My flying buddy and I are so please, that we bought the 50 size, which is on sale now. We will be putting 52 size engine in these with retracts.

I know there are some posts on here that complain about the after sale service, but I must say that NITRO PLANES has treated me very good. I will probably buy the 120 size and I'm sure the flying will be just as good if not better than the 25 size. Let me know if any of you have built and flown this great little model from Nitro Planes.
nice, do you have aerial photos of thsi little monster, maybe videos would be nice too ya ya
