I am having difficulty with my new 160DZ. It is installed inverted in an Extreme Flight Yak54, I am using fuel with 20% nitro and 20% oil and a 18x6w APC blade.

The tank has three lines, one to the pump (and using the felt clunk), one for filling via a fuel dot and a vent line going straight to atmosphere without any check valves.

The engine starts easily but will cut out abrubtly and I can see no reason why. At half throttle it will run for 1 minute and then stop - no hesitation, it just stops. This behaviour is repeatable.

The plug (an OS 4 stroke plug) looks fine. I have tried altering the HS needle from 1.5 to 3 turns with no effect.

Can anyone suggest what may be at fault?
