RE: DA100 kill switch
Dear Altavillan, Thank you for your response. Of all the responses I got, yours was right on the button. Due to the fact that I'm an eletronic moron, some of your info was not clear to me. I will describe my ignition components to you and I will send you a check for 20.00 if you would send me a diagram showing the connections so I can follow a picture. The DA ignition has the spark plug wires coming out of the box, it has a red and black lead coming out for the battery connection, and a red lead for the sensor connection. The GP switch harness has a switch box with a single on-off switch with red and black wires coming off of it, and they can be connected to whatever needed. The other red and black wires leaving the switch are connected to the kill switch, which is activated by a servo. I need to supply my own charging receptacle, which will be fuselage mounted. Where do I ground all of this stuff? I know your reply had all of this info, but I sure would appreciate a drawing. If I owned DA engines, I would supply my own switches and would not leave so much to the imagination. Is this GP ignition good enough quality to use in this situation ? I will certainly use thick wiring. My address is Jim Corry 90 Kentucky Ave. Lynn Haven, Florida 32444. Phone cell number is 850-832-2135. I promise to send you the check, and I promise it will not bounce. Thanks, Jim
