Like I said before this is a great model to fly....My only problem is landing...it is a difficult plane to land...it slows down very quick and then it seems to lose the control surface. I have flown it 4 times now and not a good landing yet. I am using a 9x6 prop and I would guess it flies around 75 mph...it is quick and I really like the way it flies....not sure what I will do about the landing. Also, the takeoff is really smooth and easy...Great flying plane....

Yup it's not the same as a straight winger.

Even in Tumbler's video you can see that he is coming in hot. However he is landing on grass which slows the plane almost immediately.

When I do a similiar landing on asphalt, the plane takes about 500' to slow down enough to start turning it w/o scraping the wheels too much...

Adding "spoilerons" does help a lot for approaches.



Short of brakes, I'm also considering mixing in a "speed brake" setup that thows out all of the surfaces at once.

Doing so will be interesting as taking both rudders out, causes the plane to pitch up... so I need to get the right mix...
