lol Mike, the guy is in Florida, don't think he really needs to worry about the winter season, except maybe for hurricanes.
I own a Lama V4 and found it very fun and it can teach a bit about orientation and throttle control but really you grow out of it from a challenge standpoint in about a month. Hovering it is too easy and can give a false sense of skill, going from it to a blade cp (I know bad first single rotor heli to try to learn on but it was only $80 and parts support is good if pricey) was a shock to say the least.
The King2 was very nice but that may have to do with the fact that I'm flying it with a Futaba 9CHP and was able to set sub trim, pitch curves and throttle curves.
