Default Got Stick

Hi jj miller1,

My son and I had the exact same trainer as you. We really liked ours and kept them both in great condition. We sold them both for 200.00 each at a swap meet. We both went with Sticks for our second planes. In our case, we went with the Hanger 9, 40 sized Ultrasticks with OS 46FX engines. We had a pair of them just like our trainers. We set them up using the quad set up so we could learn about flaps and some of the fun stuff that the trainers just couldn't do. The first thing I noticed was how smooth the OS 46 FX was over the 40 engine in the trainer. We have only been in the hobby for three years so we aren't experts, but have to say that we enjoyed these airplanes. From what I have learned, any of the sticks have proven to be a very nice second airplane choice. Good luck and have fun. IMHO
