Follow the first time start and break in instructions. The only thing I'd add to that would be also check all screws for tightness.

After running, if you ran off road then blow down the car with an air compressor, and get some WD-40 into the bits. Then use some after run oil in the engine.

Everyone does it differently, but thats what I tend to do.
