A Trex 450S kit costs $220, a semi good gyro will at least be $80, 3 swash servos for around $75 and a tail servo for $45. If you've got your radio, and a couple batteries for $100, so that's around $520 + shipping. DO NOT settle for a $169 complete RTF from Hong Kong! They don't last long enough to get through totally learning how to fly without dumping lots of $ into them and they're harder to fly. This was my experience. I love my 450 and fly it daily (weather permitting). Just my .02. Dave
