Default RE: Difference CP CP+ CP Pro

GITRDUN,

You're correct, the G90 still can be used and adjusted with the trim pot on the gyro itself.

There are four leads that come off the back of the gyro, 3 of them go to a connector that plugs into channel 4 of the receiver. The fourth wire also goes to a connector that normally plugs into channel 5. Since there is no control from the transmitter, it's best not to plug it in. The G90 defaults to a Head Holding gyro when that lead is not plugged in. Make sure that the tiny little switch on the other side of the gyro is set to "STD" and NOT "DS" The DS is for digital servo and is used for belt driven or shaft driven rotor tails.
Again, adjustments made from the trim pot in the gyro.

I use the G90 on my Honey Bee King 2, and love it. I tried the telebee gyro, and stuck with the G90. The G90 is more bucks, but you pay for what ya get.

Here is something that the manual says about the G90 Gyro. "the transmitter included with the Blade CP+ does not offer proportional control of the fifth channel, it will not be possible for you to use the remote gain control option of the G90 for setting the gyro mode and gain from the transmitter." So unless im mistakeing, that means you have to set the gyro by hand kind of like you would adjust the gain trim and built in gyro of the 3in1 unit. So you can still use the G90 gyro you just cant adjust it from the transmitter on the fly.
