I think that John is correct. I purchased a reconditioned CO2 extinguisher recently and I told the fellow at the 3S Fire Extinguisher Company that either halon or CO2 would be fine and his comment was that the Halon is no longer available.
After some of the comments above it sounds like that is a good thing for us if they damage your aircraft. Gary
