Default RE: Bashing question

After some thinking (no laughing), I have decided I will do this. This should make for an interesting side project as I assemble my 1/12" scale AC-130.

Personally I hate having perfectly good engines laying around.... these need to be put to good use.

Tonight I got the majority of the fuselage assembled. I plan to go with a tricycle landing gear setup. I moved the main(aft) gear blocks back approx 1" to give me stability for ground ops.

I plan to mount my 2400 6v battery up front where the original engine was called for. This should be a good start to balancing this project. I will also shift all possible electronics closer to the nose.

I plan to keep everything close to "stock" as called for by the kit.

Mike

Maybe I can add the OS .50 I have laying around in the nose?!!?!?!?!? nah, better not.
