Yeah arent they though. Upon trial fitiing it appear that I will have to cut holes in the side for the valve cover as you stated and just out the bottom for the "pitts" muffler. i also equipped it with an on board glo-driver. Got a question though while we are on it. The instructions state that the prop flange on the engine should be at 6 1/4- 6 1/2 inches from the firewall. When I fitted the cowling on without the engine mounted the cowling fit nicely around the fuse and the front of it was about 5 1/2 inches from the firewall is the flange meant to be that far in front of the cowling?
