hello,

Ok, I calculated that the NES-527 servos would be about 0.16 oz heavier (per servo), which means my plane would weight about 0.65 oz more. For a 54 inch wingspan, is that to much of a difference? thanks for all the help.

Eric
Maybe not! Mine was flown at 6 Lb 7 oz originally. But in all honesty, it flies better now down to 5 Lb 3 oz. This was accomplished by going down one size in motor, lightest possible servos, and changing from 5S-1P pack to 4S-1P packs. The plane floats in for a landing now, where it really was hot at the heavier weight.

With Electric, keep it light to get the performance that the plane is capable of. The lighter the better, and sometimes even a couple of ounces can make a difference.
