I have tried JB Weld with the parts very clean and it didn't work. Second try I rilled very tiny holes and laced wire through both parts and JB Welded, it held for about a year and then the JB let go and the wire was holding. I would just secure it with something and let her run as RCMANIAC suggested. It actually will remove it from the intense vibrations of the engine.
