Default RE: Todays progress on my 4*60 Couldn't add to yesterdays pics?

One thing to do before planking in the bottom ahead of the wing. Put a 1/4" ply across the LG mount after removing the blind nuts. Steel screws here is going to lead to a major repair later. Been there, done that. Aslo use some hardwood, either square or tri stock and put down over the 1/4 and extend it almost to the fire wall. This will help spread the load of a bad landing.

I see you re-enforced the former at the rear of the wing. You will not be sorry that you did that.

One last suggestion is to replace the stock aluminum landing gear with a Dubro heavy duty composite one. Use four #10-24 screws threaded into the stock and additoinal 1/4" plate. Then use nylon scrws. A really hard hit will snap off the screws where with the stock screws, it will pull the plate off the bottom of the fuselage. I've snagged my wheels a couple times and having those nylon bolts shear of is way better than ripping out the bottom.
