yep gyro gain set too high probably, if you've messed with it - if not look for something that is changed - the 90 or 110 gyros just talk to the tail rotor, not all the servos - if they are really jittering/buzzing like crazy i'd suspect the tx too

if not look for loose tail stuff where the power isn't getting to the tail rotor blades continuously - stuff like spinning worn spots on gears, the pins not in the holes all the way, the knighthead binding up, the tailrotor motor binding

been there done that on the fixed pitch, but not the cp (yet)

good point too about needing to turn down your built in rate gyro if you add a external

that's all i can think of that would cause the tail to twitch like the description, especially if you can hold it back with the stick
