Hanger 9 Aresti Garbage!!!
BGI
You're right, safe operation is our responsibility but inferior building on the part of an ARF manufacturer falls in the manufacturer's lap.
Let's say for example you purchase a new "Wizz-Bang" .60 engine and on your first trip to the feild, the head blows off and hits someone seriously injuring them. Turns out the head was installed with aluminum bolts.
Is it our responsibility as "safe operators" to diassemble a new motor and perform a Rockwell hardness test on all components before using them?
The manufacturer has the responsibility of providing customers with a safe dependable product in a hobby where we hold safety with such high regaurd.
I'm with Serge1, I don't want to flame H9 but they do have a Safety factor to consider when the Chinese sweat shops slap another 5,000 of these mass produced babies together.
I have the P-51 also and yes I did make a few mods the the gear to get it to work right, but that should be the most you should ever have to do to an ARF.
OK, I'm outta wind.....
