RE: I.M.P scale
I have built two of Dave Platt's kits, the Zero and Jungmeister. Both where excellent builds and are good fliers. I built the IMP Claude a few years back. The formers where not correct at the center of the fuse and the turtle deck seemed off. Good flying also. Not hard to correct but no where near Dave Platt's quality. Either will require some skill and determination to build. Currently I am building a Jerry Bates Wildcat and so far I think Platt's plans are the best. Dennis Bryant or Brian Taylor may have something for your motor. Many people are happy with the TF P-47 kit and flying, you should consider this also even if you have to get another motor. I like the Jungmeister so much I will be starting a Wendell Hostetler next with a Saito 325 and hopefully custom Robart gear.
