Default Nice!

Very nice!!! The only thing that is more satifying than your first build, is the first flight of your pride and joy. I still have my first build and it still strike a chord of pride when it flys. Your covering job looks good too. I would like to add a thought here about colors. First of all, I DO like the way your plane looks! Your plane may be dark enough that it wont "blend into" the blue sky, and I dont't know if you have a different color under wing. If the wing bottom is the same color.... I would suggest that you might want to put some wide yellow stripes on the bottom of the wing. (or a substanial amount of yellow of some pattern). This comes from experience. My first flight of 2002 was my Hanger 9 Cessna 40 ARF. The color was white with red and black line trim colors the SAME all over the plane. It got out a little far, and I could not tell top from bottom. The flight ended less than a minute after rotation. It buried itself to the front wing dowels in the soft, IN farmland. I just could not "SEE" the plane.
I had my first build ready for flight...... but it got stipes on the bottom of the wing before I attempted a maiden flight.
Stipes should be fairly easy to apply to a flat bottom wing. I won't go into the "Windex method" here.... but that is my suggestion for application. Do a search, or email me for help on this method if you decide to do it.... good luck on your maiden flight.......lownslo...
