An Afterthought, if you do go with a contrasting color scheme or stripes on the bottom of the wing, be sure they are wide enough to be visible.
We did some thinking about this in our club one day and decided that if the stripes are 3 inches wide or more, they will be visible from the ground. The same goes for a checkerboard pattern - make the squares real big.
You can confirm this by cutting a piece of cardboard the same size as your wing. Then tape some colored parer to it in the pattern you want. Prop it up and step back 400 or 500 feet and see how visible it is.
