Cut to the chase. Get the Dark impact. I have the Keen Hawk and a friend has the Dark impact. He is 16 and I am 45. We love them and they are nuts. My 10 year old son keep stealing my Keen hawk and I end up with the Grasshopper. The body of the dark impact has more space in it than the other DF03 bodies so you can put standard radio gear and ESC into it. They take a real beating and the kids just use them every where, Off road and on road racing. If youve got extra Bucks then spend away on a better motor etc but we love them straight out of the box. If your worried about building, dont. My 16 year old God son built his with no problem. my 10 year old would be able to build it as the instructions a great.
