Whatwind - that's a great idea about overlaying transparent monokote over white. I wish I had done that on mine. I may just checker the bottom wing that way!

I used Four Star 120 landing gear on mine. They don't look as good as AA5Y's Blue/White Phaeton (nor are they as light), but they were easy to bolt on. I ordered them from Sig.
