The retracts, ok. It's a one piece all aluminum scale main gear system, VERY NICE. Try shaun evans or try Y/A www.yellowaircraft.com. Good luck.
PS...I just looked into the Y/A website. Click on Jet models, click on F16C then click on landing gear and get a good look at what i'm talking about. You can't go wrong with these.
