well my friend that i drift with has the cyclone S and its very smooth, change belt is easy, i think its easier to lock the diff if its ball diff. if its better than the cyclone S RTR, i dont know but you get to assemble it and know the car better if u get a kit. i think you dont need the spur gear, just a 64 pitch pinion and motor, i also forgot battery and body.
